Epilepsy Futures has once again been shortlisted by the Health and Social Care Alliance in their annual celebration of work carried out round Scotland to promote self-management.
As our recent independent evaluation has demonstrated, Epilepsy Futures really does lead to change for the participants.
We have been honoured to co produce a space where people with epilepsy can support each other to make positive change in their lives.
Taking part in the 24 week programme is a substantial commitment for participants, many of whom have been living with intense social anxiety, fear, depression and isolation.
However, with each of the four groups we have worked with, participants rediscover themselves and come to a place of better self acceptance, and acceptance of their epilepsy.
We know that current participants and previous graduates are winners already, but we would love your support to help us win this award, which will be decided by public vote.
Each vote counts, whether it is a one off, or you come back daily to do so, and we thank you for them.
If you are a stranger to Epilepsy Futures, we encourage you to look back through this online Blog and see the journey that each group has made.
Thanks in anticipation!
