Five members of the current group turned up on Friday 20th April to get stuck in with the task of continuing to tidy and prepare what had been a pretty much unused plot.
Top soil was dug over, raked and broken up with some sand and the edges were cleared to allow us to put in some planks of wood to give a raised edge to the plot.
Though there was time for a rest on a rake…
Or on a bench…
After a couple of hours of hard work, the plot looks much neater than 3 weeks ago, when we first started, and everyone enjoyed their time together in the fresh air.
