With Artist & Author Fiona Gibson

These last few months have been challenging and surreal for most of us; not able to see our family or friends, do the things we enjoy, or visit our favourite spots. All of these components make up our identity and when they’re taken away, it’s normal to feel a bit lost or lacking in purpose. It’s reassuring to remember that this is temporary; that we will return to a normal way of living and be reunited with our loved ones soon enough.

In the meantime, we want to get you thinking about the places you’ve been missing the most during lock-down (or to flip that around, the places you’re most looking forward to visiting again once we come out the other end).

It might be your mum & dad’s house; the cafe where you and your friends meet for brunch; your favourite mountain to climb on a Sunday afternoon, or that museum you don’t ever get tired of wandering around.

These are the very places that Glasgow-based artist and author, Fiona Gibson, wants to draw for three lucky raffle winners. On top of being a successful author and writer, Fiona has an incredible talent for depicting beautiful cityscapes, landscapes and everything in between. Winners will receive a specially-commissioned illustration of the place they can’t wait to return to at the end of lock-down.

It’s only £5 to enter and ticket sales will run from Thurs 11 June to Sunday 28 June (closing at midnight). All proceeds will go towards supporting the vital work of Epilepsy Connections. Multiple entries are permitted and will increase your chances of winning a prize. Winners will be contacted the week commencing Monday 29 June.
