Epilepsy Connections’ Green Gym

Epilepsy Connections is delighted to be the first community group to hold an allotment on Kelvinside Allotment Association’s site in Glasgow.

We took charge of our plot in spring 2006 and a small but enthusiastic team of people who use Epilepsy Connections’ services set about clearing, replanting and maintaining it. By the end of the summer, a harvest of potatoes, beans, peas and beetroots was enjoyed.

The allotment offers people with epilepsy the chance to enjoy fresh air and exercise, to work as part of a team and experience the satisfaction of growing vegetables and fruit.
