Childrens art classesEpilepsy Connections’ fieldworkers provide information and support to adults and children with epilepsy, their family and friends, and others involved in their lives.

The fieldwork team offers:

  • User-friendly information about epilepsy– leaflets, audio and video tapes, guidance on books to buy or borrow and websites to visit
  • Practical help - how to manage seizures, safety issues
  • Listening ear support to help manage the impact epilepsy and seizures can have on individuals and families
  • Liaison with specialist clinics and GP practices
  • Liaison with schools and colleges, employers and social care and housing agencies
  • Signposting the way to other sources of help e.g. specialist epilepsy services, training, employment, volunteering opportunities and Epilepsy Connections activities.
