Epilepsy Connections Fieldwork Project in the Greater Glasgow Health Board area
Epilepsy Connections’ fieldworkers provide information and support to adults and children with epilepsy, their family and friends, and others involved in their lives.

The fieldwork team offers:
- User-friendly information about epilepsy– leaflets, audio and video tapes, guidance on books to buy or borrow and websites to visit
- Practical help - how to manage seizures, safety issues
- Listening ear support to help manage the impact epilepsy and seizures can have on individuals and families
- Liaison with specialist clinics and GP practices
- Liaison with schools and colleges, employers and social care and housing agencies
- Signposting the way to other sources of help e.g. specialist epilepsy services, training, employment, volunteering opportunities and Epilepsy Connections activities.
