Training and Education Programmes

Epilepsy Connections' Training and Education courses are recommended for anyone with a personal or professional interest in epilepsy, including:

Health Professionals, Housing and Social Care Staff, Teachers, Students undertaking care related courses, Employers, Police, Prison Staff, Unpaid carers, Sports & Leisure Instructors, Community Groups.

Course Structure: All training sessions are delivered by qualified, experienced staff using DVD and Power Point presentations, group discussions, case studies and questionnaires to ensure participants gain the maximum possible benefit. Certificates of Attendance are issued for all workshops.

Sessions can be tailored to meet the needs of specific groups. Please do not hesitate to contact our office to discuss your individual requirements.

The minimum number of participants for each session is 5. However, if you have a group fewer in number than this who wish to attend, we will attempt to accommodate you. All courses can be delivered in your workplace (travel costs will be applicable) or in Epilepsy Connections Training Suite, which will incur an additional cost. Phone the office for details.
