Befriending Project
The Befriending Project offers adults isolated by epilepsy the opportunity to meet regularly with a trained volunteer to access social and leisure opportunities. The Befriending Project aims to develop quality of life by offering people the chance to form a trusting relationship with a befriender that will enable them to:
- Build self-confidence
- Access local resources and amenities
- Participate in a range of activities
- Lead a more independent life.

How do I find out about getting a befriender?
This service is open to anyone isolated by epilepsy aged 18 years or over and living in the Greater Glasgow area.
Contact the office for more information and an application pack and then complete an informal interview.
